Division
You will be joining the Delivery Excellence Department within the Application Development and Maintenance (ADM) division. Our division ensures the competitiveness of Euroclear by delivering reliable and sustainable IT solutions for the financial securities markets.
We play an intermediary role between the business (clients of our division: mostly people from back office operations or product management who demand new IT developments or evolution of existing software) and the IT teams that will take care of these requests. We support both parties in having a manageable pipeline of projects.
Your part of the deal
Your objectives…
…Towards your clients (e.g. senior management, project leaders, business representatives)
* Provide visibility on and increase the stability of the demand of IT projects,
* Support business and IT teams in setting priorities to timely align demand and supply,
* Build and maintain a network of stakeholders across the Organisation, both at business/demand level and at delivery level (e.g. senior delivery representatives of IT teams),
* Lead and coordinate the forecast exercises from a demand perspective
* Prepare the outcome (latest view) of the forecast exercise and present it to senior business representatives,
* Be the owner of the Portfolio governance,
* Be the process guardian for key stage-gate documents,
* Be the owner of the budgets under the responsibility of the team.

* Be in charge of a small Brussels based team and also coordinate work with peers located in London and Paris,
* Support your team in handling their respective Portfolios (e.g. what key messages to bring across, what key decision needs to be taken, is the quality of the material presented at the right level?),
* Support your team in building and maintaining a strong network of relationships across the Organisation,
* Support your team in handling the quarterly forecast exercises from a demand perspective,
* Support your team in putting in place and maintaining an appropriate view of the demand pipeline,
* Manage workload of the team and prioritise ad hoc work requests versus core team deliverables,
* Put in place and maintain back-up arrangements between team members. When relevant, act as back-up for the DMG team members.

* Identify, sponsor and implement improvements in the Demand Management & Governance area.
Your Profile
The position is Brussels based and for a full time schedule.
* You have at least 5 years experience in managing a team involved in:
o either IT project delivery environment
o or the Financial and Banking environment (theoretical knowledge of IT Project Life Cycle(s))
* You have strong interpersonal skills, you are a strong team player and have the ability to lead a team:
o you are able to interact with senior management in a mature and convincing style, you understand the views of senior management and act upon them accordingly,
o you have the ability to communicate with various types of stakeholders at various levels (e.g. support team member, junior project leader, senior sponsor, division head, etc)
o you easily work with a widespread network of people from different Divisions,
o you have the ability to build and maintain long term business relationships,
In all these cases, ability to actively listen to others and to reach out to provide support are key success factors.
* You have strong analytical skills and synthetic skills. You are equally able to both step back in order to understand the context / big picture and to deep dive into certain points of attention/problems.
* You have prior experience in analysing information/data/reports, extracting essential information and preparing appropriate support material for senior management meetings.
* You have previous experience in managing meetings with senior management and in bringing across high-level fit-for-purpose messages (i.e. adapted to the audience).
* You have excellent communication skills (both verbal and in writing). As English is the company language you have the ability to present information clearly and concisely in English. * You have solid organisational and coordination skills in order to manage and prioritise work and initiatives under deadlines.
* You find the right balance between enforcing rules and processes and demonstrating an ability to be flexible/service oriented.
* You are committed to continuous process improvement.
* You function well in a rapidly changing environment where priorities shift regularly.
