Country Business Controller (M/F) ()

For our client, one of the biggest Marketing and Communications Company that operates worldwide and has more than 40,000 employees, we are looking for a Country Business Controller for the BeNeLux.

As a Country Business Controller your main duties are:

– Maintain / improve an organisation structure suitable for a SSC environment;

– Management of the finance team;

– Complete ownership of the General Ledger and its integrity of the different BeNeLux entities;

– Preparation of Actual monthly reporting under IFRS for all the companies;

– Timely issuing of monthly results reports;

– Monthly balance sheet reconciliations;

– Fixed assets booking;

– Audit coordination;

– Tax compliance and tax planning in coordination with Group Tax Director;

– Timely issuing of statutory accounts;

– Compliance with Group guidelines, IFRS and local GAAP;

– Development of strong and effective Service Level Agreements;

– Maintain a strong link with the CFOs of the different entities within the group;

– Maintain and improve the Service Level Agreement with the agencies.

The ideal Country Business Controller will have:

– A bachelor in Accounting and Administration;

– To be extremely organized and structured;

– Strong communicator;

– A solid track record in Financial controlling of a multi-entity organization preferably in a SSC environment;

– Experience IFRS and BE GAAP. NL GAAP experience would be a plus;

– You had already worked as a manager and you lead by example;

– An experience of working within, and preferably the establishment of, Shared Service Models

– To speak French, Dutch and English.
