Job Content:
- Ensure that you put all efforts in place to meet the targets of your department and of your individual team members (persistency and new sales)
- Together with the assigned Account Manager; build a relationship with a number of key accounts. Assist your team in preparation of proposals and presentations.
- Ensure that the allocated contracts and specific projects are implemented to perfection.
- Lead and manage a team of account managers with the ability to motivate, mentor, recruit, train, coach, evaluate performance in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Build an effective team by ensuring retention, motivation and development of staff and create a dynamic and stimulating work environment through effective communication.
- Organise the work flow of your department and set the right priorities.
- Look critically at existing procedures and processes and look creatively to possible ways of optimisation.
- Coordinate the cooperation and communication with other departments and the deputy directors of the other account managers teams
- Participate actively in the Management Committee IGO Health Benefits and in company-wide projects.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
Profile:
- You have a university degree and a thorough knowledge of English and French
- You have proven commercial experience in (financial) services for 10 years.
- You are an excellent communicator who is used to deal with people at different levels within international organisations and understands cultural differences.
- You enjoy building and maintaining client relationships
- You have the ability to prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities across a portfolio of products and clients and to deliver the tasks in a timely manner.
- You have strong people management and coaching skills.
- You have strong analytical skills and are good with figures.
- You have a strong sense of accountability, quality and initiative.
