• You start in a management role focusing on operations and logistics
• You assist the actual Managing Director in building and safeguarding a KPI-oriented, entrepreneurial and proactive, solution-oriented culture within the organisation
• You help to strengthen the local value proposition, to define the business plan, develop and implement strategies, continuously driving and coordinating improvement projects
• You lead by example and manage by walking around, closely following up on operations
• You ensure efficiency, quality, service, cost effective management of resources and well being of the internal human capital
• During the course of the next 2-3 years you will be exposed to other function domains and responsibilities like sales, sourcing, finance,…
• The plan is to finally (after 2 to 3 years) take over the strategic, operational and P&L responsibility for 5 recently acquired branches in the US and Mexico (150 employees in total)
• At that point you will lead the local management team, work in close collaboration with the international corporate management team in a matrix structure, in a direct reporting line to the corporate CEO and to the board.

• A (future) leader with emotional intellect to drive and inspire a team
• A strong business acumen and a nose for improvement; mere continuation management doesn’t thrill you, you think ‘opportunities’ and ‘solutions’
• No fear for remote responsibilities and the drive to make things happen in team
• Fluency in English, any other language is an asset
• Attracted by relocation to, and permanent residence in, the US.
