SAP FICO Specialist (M/F) ()

Robert Half is currently recruiting a (m/f) SAP FICO Specialist to join a multinational near Antwerp.

The scope of responsibilities for this job include:

• Participate in SAP implementation sub-projects for several entities:
  • support full SAP FICO implementation life circle
  • starting from preparation for data migration
  • cut-over activities
  • go-live & hyper care stage
  • including further process improvement in post-production environment
• Participate in development of FICO standards and procedures in line with the Group requirements
• Interact with other Streams (Service, Logistics, BPO tools etc.) to help establish direction for processes integration, improve customer service, reduce cost or provide for a competitive advantage through tools deployment
• Evaluate and establish change initiatives to build an efficient accounting to reporting process to meet business needs
• Work in cooperation with other finance teams involved in project: BPO, BIBO, Finance teams in Customer Center , Business Controllers etc.
• Coordinate related system and tools testing, troubleshoot complex finance and accounting problems

The requested qualifications for this job include:

• Bachelor degree in Finance
• Solid Accounting background (IFRS)
• 5+ years of experience in monthly, quarterly and annual close activities
• Experience with EC statutory and tax reporting (including VAT, EC-Sales listing, Intrastat, National Bank reporting requirements) is an asset
• Excellent SAP knowledge
• Participation in SAP FICO implementation is a plus
• MS office (focus on Excel)
• Fluency in English, spoken and written, is a must. Other languages are an asset
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
