Your responsibilities:

We are looking for a driven account manager to join our team to cover the Belux territory. Within this role you will be responsible to promote and sell the Oracle portfolio to a wide and divers set of business partners.

In this highly commercial function, you will act as a contact person for your own client portfolio, and you work with a selected group of System Integrators, Independent Software Vendors and Value Added Resellers. You will report to the Sales Manager Oracle.

Your tasks as Account Manager:

• Achieve revenue and margin targets as set by the business owner
• Develop & deliver in conjunction with Oracle business development programs and supporting plans to drive increased profitability and grow revenues from existing partner base
• Add net new partners
• Manage relationship with Oracle sales team to maximize profitability, goodwill and Avnet exposure
• Build direct relationships with our resellers and consistently deliver Avnet value add engagement for Oracle technologies 
• Team up with different (sales) departments within Avnet & caring for tying
• Responsible for transparent business reporting, including forecasting, market, completion and customer-related information
• Promote Oracle Programmes
• Adopting Oracle initiatives in your partner base

• Bachelor Degree of equivalent by experience
• More than 2 years of experience in sales (in the Field), in an (international) IT environment
• A commercial background with a strong sales track record in the Computer Industry is a plus
• Knowledge of Oracle is a plus
• Affinity with or interest in the relevant technologies
• Strong commercial and networking skills
• Communication skills & adaptability
• Proactive, enterprising & dynamic personality
• Fluent in Dutch and French and a profound knowledge of English (spoken and written)
