Accounts Receivable Associate (m/f) ()

Accountemps is currently recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Associate (m/f) to join an international company.

The scope of responsibilities for this job includes:

• You are responsible for the recording and maintenance of the customers’ payments in collaboration with the C&C representatives and the Accounting Department;
• You report to the Credit & Collection Manager;
• You are responsible for the follow-up of the customers’ bank transactions: you allocate in a timely and accurate manner the payments from customers;
• You manage unapplied cash in coordination with the Credit & Collection representatives;
• You book corrections and adjustments in the customers’ accounts.
• You assist the Accounting Department in the AR/AP reconciliation for customer related accounts;
• You provide support for the reconciliation of accounts;
• You assist the monthly closing process;
• You carry out other special assignments within the skill capacity under the direction of the Manager;
• You provide backup when requested to guarantee a high level of service.

The requested qualifications for this job include:

• You have a Bachelor in Accounting;
• You have at least 2 years of experience in the same type of function;
• You have a good knowledge of English, French and Dutch;
• You have a lot of experience with ERP systems, MS Office applications and Banking applications; Experience with SAP is a strong asset;
• You are quality and performance driven;
• You work quickly and under minimal supervision;
• You are customer oriented;
• You are a team player;
• You are accurate and reliable.
