Our customer, DP SURVEY GROUP NV is a leading survey company acting both domestically and internationally in the field of transport, fire and industrial losses. All of our worldwide activities are monitored from our headquarters in Zwijndrecht (Antwerp). As a result of our extensive growth we are currently looking for immediate employment of a (M/F) Claims Coordinator Fruit & Vegetable Division.
- You will be in charge of managing and supervising damage cases related to fresh fruit and vegetables. The inspections are carried out (and reported) by the foreign surveyors of the International Division; a professional network extending from Europe up to South America.
- You will be remotely coaching our international network of fruit and perishable surveyors and guide them towards professional, detailed and efficient reporting.
- You will be processing the files from start to finish together with your colleagues and will act as link between the local survey companies and our customers (exporters, insurance companies and brokers).
- You will use computerization to refine procedures and optimize the internal operation of the office. You will join a young, passionate and professional team, with whom you will closely work together.
- You have a higher technical degree (Bachelor) with a focus on Food Technology, Quality Management, Agronomy, Agricultural domain, …
- You are eager to learn and you have a distinct sense of order and organization, combined with an immunity to stress.
- You have very strong analytical skills.
- You have a skilled command of languages. Good oral and written proficiency in English is a must. You will report in fluent English. Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
- Experience in and affinity with quality assurance of fruit and perishables is a prerequisite.
- You are familiar with Windows and Office software.
