Client HR Manager ()


Job location: Izegem


As Client HR Manager you will be a member of the embedded HR team in our Refined Oils Business. You will be responsible to manage the HR outcomes and results for location Izegem as well as several HR processes assigned. You will provide HR support in the areas of Talent Management, Performance Management, Selection, Compensation, Change Management, Engagement and Development. You will coordinate the delivery of HR services with shared services and internal partners. You will handle day-to-day HR issues and processes, but will also be responsible for projects.


Major Tasks


  • Understands business imperatives and people impacts of the business unit strategy.
  • Supports the coordination and development of people plans for the direct business area based on business knowledge and market trends.
  • Supports the alignment of compensation and rewards to business strategy.
  • Works with business managers to work out industrial relations/labor strategy approaches.
    Manages talent components of growth/strategy objectives.
  • Coaches individuals and teams and builds strong capabilities in the local management teams.
  • Identifies, evaluates, and manages risks to the business relating to employees.
  • Building change capability in designated location or business area.
  • Ensures HR services are aligned with culture, compliant with country policies and regulations.
  • Understands and shapes the desired culture and engagement of the workgroup.
  • You will be reporting to the Business Unit HR Leader.



  • Bachelor degree (or country equivalent degree).
  • 7-10 years of Human Resources/Business experience.
  • Experience in leading industrial and labor relations and collective bargaining processes in Belgium.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and implement people processes and HR solutions.
  • Fluent in Dutch with strong knowledge of English, French is a plus.
  • Conflict management and resolution skills.
  • Solid business acumen, including fundamentals of finance and managing budget.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Basic change management skills.
