Our client, a wellknown technical control bureau for construction,  is urgently looking for an (m/f) International Construction Risk Engineer Maritime Sector.
The development of their activities in the Energy sector, the Maritime sector and projects of Complex Infrastructure s.a. bridges, in an international market (Europe and Worldwide), is the focus in this job.

The capabilities will need to be situated at two levels, technical and commercial:

• Technical: project management experience in the fields to be developed, civil engineers in construction / university level (master level). The function will involve participation in the project management of projects in the fields under development. The candidate will have to be technically outstanding in this respect.

• Commercial: his list of contacts will allow him to actively participate in the business development of the fields to be developed. He possesses excellent human skills and experience with business case development and its implementation.

It is understood that 10 to 15 years in civil engineering design, checking or certification practices is a prerequisite for this function.
Functionality: he/she  will be working in an international department. In collaboration with the responsible for the international development, he/she will have to perform coordination with the production capacity.
Synergy with work in the home market is a requirement and hence knowledge of one of the national languages (French, Dutch) is necessary. An excellent level of English is the first requirement.
Flexibility: the candidate can demonstrate his flexibility by showing his willingness to relocate to Belgium/Brussels for the job if currently living abroad. The job will include repeated international travelling for shorter periods of time.
