Consultant ( senior ) for witnessing tests on HV cables ( under sea cables ) ()

EngiPro, Engineering & Project Consultancy, is providing project and construction management and multi-discipline engineering and construction supervisory services to a variety of companies (petrochemical, chemical, pharmaceutical, food, automobile, construction,…).

Our services are of particular interest to dynamic and project oriented personnel like project and construction managers, project, planning and discipline engineers, cost controllers, site supervisors, QA/QC, safety, administrative and operating personnel.

Witnessing of the tests on HV cable in the facilities of the cable manufaturers ( those HC cables will be used to connect the windfarms in the Nord Sea to land ) 

Our client has written/prepared  a complete test program ( different tests to be executed on the cables ) . Verify that the cable manufacturer is doing all the test in a correct way . Assisting & witnessing the tests . Verify the testreports .

Verify the weekly progress report provided by the cable manufacturer . Challenge the cable manufacturer .

Starting from a detailed planning of the test activities provided by the cable manufacturer organise your own planning .

Notification of all the irregularities during testing 

Approve the final test report 

Experience with witnessing tests on HV cables in the facilities of the cable manufacturer .

Good knowledge of HV cable systems, IEC standards regarding to HV cables ans knwoledge about the follow-up and witnessing of samples testing

SENIOR PROFILE ! EXPERIENCE WITH HV cables ( experience with under sea HC cables is an advantage )

Be capable of interpreting and understanding the test files & test procedures

Willing to travel ( different cable manufacturers are situated in Sweden, Finland, Germany, Italy )

Independant . Good organiser .

Communicatif .

Perfect english knowledge

Good experience in the sector / business of cable manufacturers ( of HC cables )

 

A very challenging mission for AN EXPERT / SENIOR 

Start of the mission : ASAP

Duration : +- 1 year

Location : No fix location … mainly missions abroad in the premises of the cable manufacturers ( Sweden, Finland, Germany, Italy, … )

Preparation of the visits , administratve work, … needs to be done from home office .
