As a Domain Architect Database, you will maintain the landscape view of our database services and formalise the vision for future technologies together with the architects in adjacent domains, in which you are involved in challenging business projects, where you will assist the creation of the global design, based on the current standards in order to meet the needs of your business partners.

- Analytical and strong in problem solving;
- Well organised: you work out detailed action plans how to reach your goal, taking into account the constraints and priorities;
- Team player;
- A strong communicator, able to present concepts and data in a structured way;
- Assertive but diplomatically;
- Eager to learn and to become specialist in a “technical” domain.
And you also have…
- Master degree in information technology or equivalent by experience;
- Methodologies: TOGAF 8, IAF, CMMi, ITIL;
- Specific knowledge on technologies such as Oracle RDBMS 10 and/or 11, RMAN, Oracle
- Enterprise Manager, Data Warehousing, MS SQL server (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS), Sybase ASE 15.x, High
Availability, Disaster Recovery, …; - Experience with UNIX based platforms and storage solutions. (AIX and Linux knowledge is a plus);
- Sound experience in IT and IT processes;
- A good knowledge of English. A good command of French and/or Dutch is considered as an asset.

Your role …
- Having a close contact with the Solution Architects, the Architects at ING NL and Enterprise Architects;
- Defining and completing the Solution landscape;
- Defining technology roadmap in the database domain;
- Initiating and defending projects within the technology domain;
- Being accountable for the problem resolution and audit findings on architecture level;
- Keeping you informed of your technology domain.
