Our client is a multinational private company based in Brabant Wallon and having a manufacturing activity in Belgium.

They are looking to recruit a Finance & Administration Manager.

Robert Half is looking to recruit a Finance & Administration Manager for his client, a multinational private company based in Brabant Wallon.

The scope of responsibilities for this job includes:

• Responsible for the Period End Closing (PEC) process and ensure reliability, accuracy and timeliness of the financial reporting deliverables to “Group Financial Reporting”, with the support of Finance team(s) and Local Plant Controller(s), in accordance with IFRS and Group Accounting policies (GAAM);
• Responsible for the management and development of Finance local team and Finance outsourced resources to ensure proper booking for local affiliate accounts, especially timely booking of accruals and provisions;
• Responsible for Statutory Financial Statements, external audit and Legal compliance at affiliate level;
• Responsible for the execution of Group Tax policies (Transfer Price and Tax optimization) and for all Taxes compliance and filling (income Tax, VAT, property tax, local taxes, …);
• Ensure that key ICS controls are performed in the affiliate, and lead with plant management Control and Audit activities and planning with the support of local plant controller(s);
• Responsible for local Treasury activities (Cash reporting and forecast, Forex, Funding reporting) and bank relationships;
• Responsible for Financial Assets, including Pensions;
• Facilities Management;
• Develop Financial and Controlling culture and behavior in the plant, especially through GAAM and Controlling Manual promotion and improvement;
• Participate to continuous improvement process, especially on Information System (SAP).

The requested qualifications for this job include:

• Master Degree in Economics or Finance & Administration
• Experience of 2 to 3 years in an Audit company followed by a controlling position of several years, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Leadership and management capabilities
• Fluent in English and French
• Easy going personality, very good communication skills and able to work autonomously
• Good command of SAP is a must
