Our client is a Software Company located in Aartselaar. The company started up in 1993 and today has a turnover of 2.2 million Euros and employs 30 employees. What really differentiates this company is its very strong family company culture.

The company has built up very strong partnerships with big clients in Brussels and Antwerp for the delivery of innovative Software Solutions in Supply Chain.

As Functional/Business Analyst, you will have an position between the internal development and test teams and your external customer. Your main customers are large multinationals. This means that most meetings will be held by video-conference internally.

Our client currently has a small team of junior Business analysts in place. These juniors require mentoring and coaching. This will be part of your role.

Job description:

  • Define business processes with the business stakeholders
  • Gather and analyze the user – and the functional requirements in close cooperation with the business
  • Translate requirements into functional specifications that will be programmed by the developers
  • Make sure the technical design is in line with the functional design.
  • Insure proper documentation
  • As an analyst you play an important role in the roll-out of projects.
  • You liaise with business and operational stakeholders on the projects.

Profile:

  • You have several years’ experience in a role as functional and / or business analyst
  • Excellent communicator in Dutch and English – French is a big plus
  • Knowledge of Object orientate principles, requirement gathering techniques
  • Knowledge of UML and business process analysis.
  • Loyal person looking for a long time, internal role in a small family minded company.
  • You like to share your knowledge with juniors
  • A decent technical background
