For our client, situated in leuven (3001), we are looking for a GL accountant (Fixed contract)
Main Tasks:
- Manage GL accounting of several international companies and ensure timely monthly closing, including: International GL Payroll postings, accruals processing, fixed assets accounting….
- Production of country P&L and balance sheet under established timelines and reporting to the management
- Inter-company transactions + reconciliations + company consolidation
- VAT declarations (BE, NL, DE and UK), VAT listings, foreign VAT returns
- Prepare Corp tax return (nice to have)
- Assistance IFRS annual financial report
- Supporting in the auditing and Due Diligence processes of the Company
- Provide Competitive Project department with all information required to launch new public grants
- Fiscal forms 281.50
- Ad hoc services
Profile:
- Multi Lingual, Dutch and English required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent through experience;
- BE GAAP experience; IFRs (nice to have)
- 3-5 years International accounting experience;
- Computerized accounting programs, Navision skills required
- General computer skills;
- Analytical and problem solving skills with good attention to detail and accuracy;
- Stress and time management skills;
- Team player and client orientation
