- Owner of a Master or Bachelor degree, 5 years of experience in JEE infrastructure with at least a first experience in architecture.
- Advanced knowledge of WebSphere Application Server and/or JBoss AS, including clustering for high-availability and performance, administrative scripting, troubleshooting, as well as Java EE development best practices.
- Familiar with web infrastructure devices, like load-balancers (Cisco, BigIP), reverse proxies, authentication proxies (TAM).
- Familiar with security schemes applied to the Web/Java worlds
- Infrastructure design and architecture skills.
- Experience as a java developer is considered a plus
- Architectural skill (IAF and Togaf)
- Fluency in English, French or Dutch are considered an asset

You role …
As our JEE Hosting domain architect, you will lead to the innovation, the technical design and the development of a large Java EE application hosting service infrastructure. Management of this infrastructure covers different aspects, going from the software integration within the ING context to the OS build and software stack creation, within an international scope.
As our JEE Hosting domain architect, you carry out the following tasks:
- Analyze existing infrastructure, propose innovations and document the target solution
- Control change implementation
- Together with the Solution Architect, analyze Business requests and translate them into a Detailed Level Design related to the bank strategy
- Propose optimal solutions, based on the ING Group standards
- Propose and uphold improvements related to other domains
- Be responsible of architectural problem solving
- Write documentation
- Keep current with IT market evolution
- Keep contact with the vendors
