Legal Counsel Belux ()

Sogeti Belux is looking for a Legal Counsel. As a legal counsel you will report to and work closely together with the General Counsel of Sogeti Belux. The job content is varied with a main focus on commercial law. You will mainly work in the offices of Sogeti Belux which are located in Brussels and Luxemburg.

More specified, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Supporting/ advising the internal departments in all day-to-day legal matters;
• Advising on legal matters such as public tenders, data privacy law;
• Drafting, reviewing and amending commercial agreements (supply of services, letters of intent, non-disclosure agreement, …);
• Provide appropriate templates of commercial agreements and ensure a proper contract management;
• Advising on potential settlement agreements and/or managing and finalizing litigation on HR and on commercial law.

• You have obtained a law degree in Europe;
• You have 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in general commercial law, contract negotiation. Ideally you also have knowledge about IT contracts and related issues;
• You have proven that you can easily translate legal concepts into comprehensive guidelines for business colleagues;
• You have excellent contract drafting skills (in Dutch, English and French);
• You are well organized and stress resistant;
• You are ready to travel in Luxemburg and Belgium. It’s possible in the future that you will also work for the Netherlands;
• You are a team player, but are also able to work autonomously;
• You show attention to detail and a rigorous legal analysis. But at the same time, you are approachable, pragmatic and creative in suggesting implementation of solutions;
• You are fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
