Project Engineer Automation ()

The Project Engineer Automation owns the full accountability for project engineering quality, from Design phase through project completion and final “as built” documentation. Significant coordination with Project Managers, customers, and OEM partner companies is required. 

• Provides on-site start-up support for software and equipment, in addition to technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Installs new or modified equipment at customer’s facility to ensure full functionality according to specifications, including electrical testing and optical set up.
• Coordinates problem resolution with engineering, customer support, and other personnel to expedite repairs.
• Actively participate in project team meetings and conversations with Customers, to actively communicate the technical deliverables for projects.  Gain the customers‘ trust through open and transparent discussion and engineering documentation.
• Coordinates engineering documentation, such as Interface Guides, Electrical schematics, Standard product drawings, Detailed Design specifications, and assist/peer review Validation protocols.
• Supports project through all project phases.
• Develops and mentors team members on technical issues

Project Engineer Automation profile:

• Industrial engineering degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Automation Engineering or Computer Sciences
• Experience in technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair systems
• Experience in SAP and MES (Manufacturing Execution System) is a strong asset
• Ability to communicate the technical deliverables on a project 
• Knowledge, configuration and design experience on PC, PLC, SCADA, and/or Machine Vision based systems
• Knowledge in AutoCAD, cGMP, GAMP and Validation lifecycle a plus
• Good written and verbal skills
• English and either French, Dutch or German language skills  
• Experience in pharmaceutical packaging industry or similar field/industry is a plus
• Willing to travel mainly in Europe
