Quality Assurance Engineer (QA Test Specialist) ()

The position:

You will be working in the Quality Assurance Team on the Quality Assurance Engineer position.
QA Team role is required to verify that all products related to business processes are develop according to specification, ensure all desired requirements are met.

As a QA Engineer, you will be working with test creation and execution. Collaborating with development and project managers, using both manual and automated testing, you will gain full picture to the StepStone software-development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Cooperating between Development, Product Management and other QA Team members as well, working within the product-development team, to deliver valuable and high-quality products.
• Perform functional BlackBox, system and regression tests.
• Create test plans, test cases, test procedures and execute them.
• Review manual test scenario’s.
• Report test progress
• Design scalable, easy to maintenance and reuse Test Scripts
• Strengthen collaboration with development and participate in planning and review meetings
• Implement Acceptance Testing techniques during software development life cycle

Requirements:

• English is a must, second language French or Dutch would be an asset
• 2 years of experience in testing web application
• 1 year experience with high volume websites
• Good knowledge and understanding web technologies like HTML/CSS/JavaScript
• Familiar with web development tools like Firebug, WebDeveloper, httpfox, firepath etc.
• Strong analytical skills
• Good communication skills written and verbal
• ISTQB Certificated will be an asset
• Understood SDLC and its processes
• Experience with bug tracking software Jira, Mantis or other
• Experience with test automation software would be an asset.
