Senior Consultant on Employee Benefits

PwC’s Pension Desk advises organisations on all pension-related matters.  It is a multi-disciplinary team with in-depth knowledge of pensions including from personal and corporate income tax social law and prudential law accounting and actuarial perspectives.  Our strength lies in the fact that we can offer a one-stop-shop for our clients.  You will be embedded in our HR services department. 


As Senior Consultant on Employee Benefits you will work on the following issues:


    • Identifying quantifying and proposing solutions for the pension/benefits of executives

    • HR process improvement: designing and implementing new occupational pension plans for our clients

    • Benchmarking : providing HR-related benchmark services to companies with a second pillar pension focus

    • Due diligence advice from a pension angle

    • Strategic pension consulting in a deals context (e.g. post-deal integration and harmonisation of pension plans help negotiating deals with employee representatives etc.)

    • Being in charge of the follow-up with the insurance industry when putting new occupational pension plans on the market for our clients

    • Assisting with legal and tax advice often in an international context regarding second pillar pension plans

    • A varied range of topics (compensation and benefits international mobility executive remuneration dismissals mergers & acquisitions industrial relations de-risking etc.)



You have:


    • a Master’s degree in law economics or actuarial sciences

    • at least two to four years of experience in employee benefit consulting preferably with a focus on occupational pension plans

    • advanced knowledge of MS Office is required

    • a critical and analytical mind as well as good communication skills and you are client oriented

    • Good communication skills with fluency in English Dutch and/or French. Excellent English writing skills are a must
