Within PwC’s Technology Consulting services we’re looking for a Senior Enterprise Architect European Institutions with six to eight years of experience.
 
Your tasks and activities:
As a Senior Enterprise Architect you’ll help our clients translate their business strategy into ICT systems. The clients you’ll work for are primarily European Union institutions and large financial institutions.
 
You’ll be responsible for:

    * performing business and data analysis

    * analysing and managing business requirements

    * creating and validating business data and application architectures

    * preparing planning delivering and following up on all aspects of a project
    * managing relationships with clients
    * identifying new business development opportunities
    * supporting internal practice development (training coaching and team building)

 
Some recent projects include:
SEMIC – a European Commission initiative to foster the semantic interoperability of interconnected e-Government systems. Our team is:

    * performing raise awareness actions e.g. organisation of an annual conference
    * exploiting opportunities for semantic alignment between e-Government systems by building core vocabularies
    * providing insights into frameworks and methodologies by conducting studies and pilots
    * providing policy support

Open Data Support – a European Commission initiative to improve the visibility and facilitate the access to datasets published on local and national open data portals in order to increase their reuse within and across borders. Our team is providing:

    * metadata management and publishing services
    * training services across the EU
    * consultancy services

EFIR – a European Commission initiative to foster interoperability of e-Government systems through the reuse of standards. Our team is:

    * encouraging the sharing and reuse of interoperability solutions
    * collecting user requirements and turning them into functional specifications for the development of a European Federated Interoperability Repository on Joinup

You have:

    * a  master’s degree in computer science commercial science or engineering
    * six to eight years of experience in enterprise architecture or related fields; a certification in TOGAF or other enterprise architecture framework or in ITIL or PRINCE2 is an asset as is hands-on experience with web technologies semantic web XML and/or interoperability
    * an understanding of the business in a private or public sector context (policy); working for an EU institution or financial institution is an asset
    * proven project management and coordination experience
    * strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interface effectively with a broad range of people and roles
    * a flawless command of English excellent English writing skills and a strong knowledge of Dutch and/or French
