Deutsche Bank Senior Operational Risk Officer Job Mission Within the Operational Risk Management department (ORM), you will be in charge of the risk and control inventory, OR assessments and reportings for the activities of the bank in Belgium, tracking and reporting of open and closed audit issues and preparation of the risk committee, in line with the bank standards, the legal and regulatory requirements and the international standards. Job Description Active participation in the risk and control inventory across the bank and in the set-up of the control inventory governance (maintenance & monitoring of the execution of the 1st and 2d level controls). Reviews and assessments of the internal control framework for the operational activities in the bank, in order to identify important issues, potential risks and possible corrective actions. Set-up and follow-up of risk indicators. OR assessments and analysis (in case of outsourcings, new or changed products / processes / procedures, incidents, etc) Preparation of the risk committee and tracking and reporting of open and closed audit issues. Support of the ORM Head for risk related projects at the local or the Group’s initiative Profile Master in Economics or equivalent. Trilingual (English / French / Dutch) (spoken and written). You have a broad knowledge of the banking products and activities and demonstrates at least 7 years of experience in a similar role in the banking or financial sector (audit, compliance, risk management, control self assessment). You have a strong affinity for matters related to internal controls, risk management, risk assessment and information security. You are familiarized with the international standards and best practices (f.e. COSO control framework). Excellent (oral and written) communication and persuasion skills within the department and across the bank. Strong analytical skills. Ability to identify issues and associated potential risks and to propose corrective actions. Efficient and rigorous, working within the agreed deadlines and taking into consideration risk based priorities. Team player as well as able to work stand-alone. Integer and with high ethical standards. Assertive and dynamic personality. Pro-active (for suggesting changes and improvements and for the development of tools supporting the analysis and the internal reporting).
