Senior Software Engineer ()

StepStone is growing and therefore we are looking for Software Engineers to reinforce the development team.

You will be part of an international team of 80 people split into smaller teams located in Belgium and Poland. The team is responsible for our on-line platforms. As a Senior Software Engineer you will develop new functionalities, maintain and enhance our current applications. You will be reporting to the Software Engineer Team Leader.

 

Your profile

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and proven experience in development of web-based applications. You will be joining a development team working in an agile environment using tools like Jira. You also have a knowledge of design patterns, unit testing and software architecture;
• You have a good knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (i.e. Java) and frameworks;
• Knowledge of ColdFusion, PHP, SQL and JavaScript is an asset;
• You are fluent in written and spoken English;
• You are a team player but can work alone if necessary;
• You are naturally inclined to share your knowledge within your team and can act as a mentor;
