Service Delivery Engineer – MobileXpense ()


MobileXpense was founded in July 2000 with the mission to deliver modern and innovative solutions for automatic managing of professional expenses.

In just a few years, MobileXpense has become one of the most renowned companies in the area of expense management. Not only do many large European multinationals use MobileXpense solutions, more and more small companies are doing so too.

The MobileXpense service can benefit any company, whether there are 10 employees or 10 thousand. The only criterion is frequent travel expenses.

In order to support its growth, MobileXpense i currently hiring a (m/f) Service Delivery Engineer.

This is a fulltime position at MobileXpense headquarters in Brussels.

You are responsible to deliver support to MobileXpense customers in line with the agreed service levels.

Therefore, you will manage all customer requests, analyse and categorize them according to their urgency and nature.

You will directly answer the request where possible or take the necessary actions for an qualitative answer to be provided in due time, including but not limited to requesting more detailed information from the customer, investigate the cause of a reported problem and collect the necessary information for the development team to perform the necessary correction, request the involvement of a specialist consultant to provide the customer with a detailed analysis of his/her requirements or of an IT operator to operate a specific maintenance operation.

You are responsible for the follow up of the request(s) of the customers so that the response is given within the terms of the Service Level Agreement applicable to the customer in question.

You has also a pro-active role, preventing errors to be made by providing the customer with the necessary information (system documentation, help content) and formulate system improvements to avoid future questions and/or errors.

  • A Bachelor Degree in Information Technology degree or equivalent by experience
  • Business analysis skills: ability to understand and document complex business processes.
  • Accounting : basic understanding of accounting processes, especially related to accounts payable
  • Communication: ability to communicate fluently in English (writing and speaking) and in French
  • Technical skills: interested in IT, advanced user of EXCEL, familiar with databases (basic SQL scripting is a strong asset).
  • A first second level support experience could be an asset
  • No nonsense attitude, organized and result(detail) and service oriented.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, able to work with accuracy under time pressure.
  • Hands-on team worker with the ambition to develop yourself together with the company.
