Supervisor Internal Audit – FMCG Multinational ()

As a Supervisor internal audit, you will be part of the Benelux Internal Audit, Controls & Compliances team and you will be based in Berchem (Antwerp). Later you will have opportunities to rotate to other departments within the Benelux organization or within Philip Morris International, at its operations center in Lausanne (Switzerland).

In the position of Supervisor Internal Audit, your key responsibilities will include:

• Supervision and coordination of the activities of two internal auditors;
• Coordination and execution of the yearly risk assessment;
• Establishment and (coordination of the) execution of the audit plan;
• Review and analysis of business processes, systems and controls;
• Development and implementation of internal controls and procedures;
• Provide added value by identifying internal control weaknesses and making recommendations to resolve them;
• Documentation and testing of the SOX requirements;
• Coordination of the quarterly monitoring of IT security and SAP access rights;
• Promoting efficiency and effectiveness of business operations;
• Reducing the risk of asset loss;
• Review of financial reporting;
• Ensuring compliance with internal and external directives, laws and regulations;
• Being up to the challenge of seeking potential improvements in organization and / or procedures;
• Help positioning the department as a forward thinking, influential and pro-active business partner.
• Building relationships, trust and network throughout the organization.

• You hold a Master degree in Economics or Business Administration
• An extra certificate (IAB, CIA) is a must
• You have minimum 5 years of audit experience, specific internal audit experience within a multinational organization
• You have technical knowledge of US GAAP, Statutory accounting, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), Customs or Excise Tax is a plus;
• You are IT-minded; SAP experience is an asset
• You are willing to listen to, coach and motivate your team members. Because of this you are able to establish a great team spirit!
