As part of a team, you will be responsible for the coordination of outbound transport, in line with local legislation and internal procedures. This includes, the planning and follow-up of export shipments and daily collections for local markets. Principal Accountabilities of the Transport Coordinator • Organise and coordinate the daily collections to ensure in an effective and efficient manner. • Coordinate and guide transporter providers to ensure the agreed timetables are met in line with relevant legislation and local practices. • To keep up-to-date administrative records to ensure timely and accurate internal information flows. • Resolve any issues with transport providers and operations in a quick and efficient way. • Control transport documents to ensure the correct information is provided to transporters. • Monitoring service levels and costs. • Actively participate in projects to improve the service delivery of the department and organisation • Set up and maintain KPI reports. Minimum Requirements of the Transport Coordinator • First experience in a similar position • Bachelor Degree • Knowledge of import and export procedures • Good knowledge of MS Excel • Fluent in Dutch and English.
