A SCIENTIFIC ADVISER ()

IMA-Europe AiSBL is looking for its member EuLA AiSBL, a Brussels based Association representing the Lime Industry, for the immediate entry into function:

Profile:

• University degree (e.g. in engineering, economics, Master in environmental science or equivalent);
• Min 3 years professional experience in the field of environment, climate change policies and regulatory affairs ideally familiar with the energy intensive industries (e.g. lime, cement, steel, glass, paper, chemicals);
• Fluency in English. French or German is an asset;
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
• Efficient, flexible, assertive and rigorous
• Computer literate (proficient user of MS Office);

Job description:

• Scientific support on technical issues related to advocacy dossiers (especially in the field of climate change and energy, environment, air emissions etc.) in front of the EU institutions trade organisations, scientific institutes and industry experts;
• Coordination of technical/scientific projects;
• Drafting of position papers, technical dossiers and meeting reports;
• Management of working groups and technical Task Forces
• The position includes a few travels within the EU.
