As a business developer:

• You map and analyse market potential in the Belux public lighting market
• You develop and maintain strong relationships with high potential new partners in the segment
• You take responsibility for the achievement of agreed business targets
• You are the point of contact for customers within your portfolio (ranging from architects, local governments, to utility companies and engineering offices).
• You take active part in a regular project follow-up and keep track of projects in different stages of the sales pipeline
• You maintain contact with national colleagues within the sales team and international contact with colleagues from European production plants

Desired skills & Experience:

• You are in possession of a technical bachelor diploma combined with commercial skills OR in possession of a commercial bachelor diploma in combination with affinity for architecture and/or solving technical issues.
• You have professional sales experience in a B2B-environment, preferably in the lighting business
• You are hungry for success and able to make things happen
• You identify original and innovative approaches and solutions to challenges
• You actively broaden your view and knowledge of the business beyond your current expertise
• You are able to motivate yourself
• You have a flair for languages. You have a native or bilingual proficiency in Dutch and French, and a full professional proficiency in English.
• You take initiative and demonstrate a can-do mentality
• You have excellent networking skills
• You have the courage to take responsibility
• You demonstrate a high level of self-reflection and take responsibility for further development.
• You like to work in a cooperative manner to be successful as a team.
• You are familiar with standard MS Office applications, and eager to learn other software platforms used by the Zumtobel Group
