Your responsibilities 
Delhaize Group’s Corporate Finance Department is a dynamic team which manages and optimizes the overall capital structure of the Group including debt, derivatives, leases, working capital and equity. It monitors and forecasts the needs for outside funding and issues short-term, long-term, equity and equity-linked instruments. The department also develops the Group’s investment strategy, monitors compliance with financial covenants and manages the relationship with rating agencies, regulators, lenders and creditors.

The Group’s Corporate Finance Department is looking for a Corporate Finance Analyst to coordinate the budgeting, compliance and reporting process whereas supporting the issuance of debt and cross-functional projects.

  – Perform the modeling and budgeting of the Group’s net financial expense;
  – Prepare the analysis of the Group’s net financial expense by comparing the variance between actuals and forecasts;
  – Coordinate the production of the Group’s Treasury Report;
  – Track compliance with covenants from credit facilities and bonds;
  – Support the assessment of the Group’s credit metrics based on Standard & Poor’s and Moody’s methodologies;
  – Support the planning and execution of short-term and long-term financing instruments in Europe and the US in order to fund the Group’s capital requirements;
  – Work closely with other corporate functions (Tax, Strategy, Accounting, Legal and HR) on cross-functional projects.

Your profile
   – You hold a Master degree, preferably in Economics or Finance, with 3-4 years of relevant experience in the Corporate Treasury function of a multinational company, in Corporate or Investment Banking or in Transactions Services of one of the Big Four firms;
  – You demonstrate excellent analytical and financial modeling skills and have good working knowledge of financial instruments and derivatives;
  – You are resourceful, take initiatives and work in a flexible, integer and efficient manner;
  – You demonstrate strong communication skills, capable of working in a dynamic, international and cross-functional environment;
  – You are fluent in English and preferably well versed in French or Dutch.
