Credit Collections Agent ()

Our international client, based in Leuven, is currently looking for a (m/f) Collection Agent

You will report to the Senior Credit Controller Emena and you will be have the following responsibilities:

• To follow up the collection of accounts receivables through different communication channels and maintain the credit control procedures in order to ensure outstanding balances are kept to a minimum days sales outstanding.
• Activating new customer accounts after verification of credit reliability and other important items
• Deciding on block shipments in consultation with the Senior Credit Controller.

Profile

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent through experience.
• 2-4 years of experience in Collection
• Knowledge of accounting, bank services & credit risks would be an asset.
• Excellent Communicator in English, Dutch, French and German. Any other languages are an asset.
• Effective and persuasive negotiator with customers
• Good MS Office skills, of which certainly excel
• Self-starter who can work independently with a good stress tolerance.
• Good balance between customer focus and financial goals.
