Job Overview:

In this role, you are responsible for all aspects of export/import order management activity and play an integral role in supporting sales and operations groups in achieving global objectives and customer satisfaction.

For this, you obtain, analyze and verify the order information in a client friendly way. You initiates and/or implements corrective actions in order to ensure an excellent standard of service. And you prepare customer service summary reports and co-ordinates the handling of special questions.



Primary Responsibilities

  • You receive, process & verify the accuracy of orders utilizing the organizations internal CRM/MRP system and customer purchase orders
  • You are responsible for the entry & follow-up within the agreed KPI’s.
  • You answer inquiries from customers (by phone, by mail, by face to face contact)
  • You handle and follow-up customer complaints
  • You obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries
  • You provide pricing and delivery information
  • You set up new  customer accounts
  • You communicate and coordinate with internal departments
  • You provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process
  • You receive and handle incoming calls and support customer visits (practical organization)


  • Bachelor degree or equivalent by experience
  • Proficiency in MS office & MRP systems
  • Dutch speaker with good knowledge of French/English/German
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices and technical interest
