- A university degree in (Business) IT or Computer Science;
- Knowledge of IT technology and the ambition to learn new technologies such as: web applications (Websphere), operating systems (Windows, Unix, Linux, IOS), networks, databases (Oracle, MS SQL server MySQL) and middleware, etc.
- At least 5 years of job experience in IT and/or IT audit;
- Experience in the field of information security is a plus;
- Knowledge of / experience with IT management and/or application development;
- A fluent English level and a knowledge of Dutch or French is an asset;

Your role …
- Performing IT audits. Tasks include carrying out investigations, discussing and documenting findings, making improvement recommendations to the responsible management and writing reports.
- Advice assignments. This generally involves advice assignments for the safe installation of IT systems or processes or parts of big IT programs or projects.
- Maintaining good relationships with IT management and staff of different levels of the organisation
- Determining the operational audit objectives, scope and audit approach and working closely with other Corporate Audit Service teams to ensure a consistent audit approach
- Assessing the inherent risks related to IT process & technology
- Evaluating the design of the key controls, testing the operational effectiveness and assessing the residual risk
- Discussing the audit conclusions emerging from the audit activities with IT management
- Ensuring that audit work is documented in the audit software in accordance with guidelines of the Corporate Audit Service team manual
- Ensuring that audit findings are timely recorded in the internal audit tracking system
- Ensuring that issues submitted for closure are timely responded and closed in the issue tracking system.

Within CAS Bank, CAS Audit IT is specifically responsible for audits in the IT field. CAS IT is a worldwide organisation employing over 30 IT auditors in the Benelux region. Within Audit IT, the Belgian team is primarily responsible for performing IT audits on systems and IT projects in Belgium and Luxembourg.
