To join their Antwerp and Brussels’ office, Allen & Overy is currently looking for a part-time (19 hours per week) Professional Support Lawyer for the IP & IT Team.

Your Function

Together with 6 Professional Support Lawyers you are part of the know-how team.

You will support the Belgian practice group Intellectual Property & Information Technology and will closely work together with the lawyers of this practice group.

As a Professional Support Lawyer, you will monitor and analyse Belgian and international developments mainly in the fields of IP and IT law and you communicate those to members of the firm and external clients (for example through briefings, bulletins and e-alerts).

You will design internal and external training on legal developments.

You will develop, implement and monitor know-how projects in the IP & IT team.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for the development, update and management of documents (for example standard documents and agreements).

Your Profile

You obtained a Master in law in Belgium.

You have at least 3 years of experience as a lawyer, legal counsel or PSL.

Experience in IP & IT law is a definite advantage.

You have an excellent working knowledge of English and a good knowledge of Dutch and French.

You are dynamic and willing to take initiatives. You have an outgoing approach and you are a team player with a positive attitude. You are willing to communicate and manage projects and you have strong organisational skills.
