Mission
The BI Project Manager leads one or more projects to develop new BI solutions or reengineer existing projects for implementation of new reporting and/or analysis processes. Manage the daily activities of the project. First point of contact to implement, achieve and realize the project objectives. Duration of the projects is situated on medium term: 1-2 years. Projects budget is estimated at > 10 million EURO and <25 million EURO. Tâches et responsabilités

– The Project Manager is the end-responsible for delivering a qualitative project within budget and timing, according to the ICT and BI methodology valid within bpost.
– This includes leading a team to :
– Gather the BI business requirements from the business owners with BI analysts
– Validate the requirements and data quality in Proof of Concept
– Translate the requirements in statements of work for a solution
– Deliver the BI solution to the customer incl. change management
– Organize the workload with the BI analysts and developers and the overall BI team capabilities
– Ensure the solution is compliant to bpost BI’s architecture, standards and guidelines.
– Guide the business owners during the testing, validation and adoption process (change management)
– Lead a number of projects/demands of his business, work as single point of contact, and report progress and status
– Keep a helicopter view on the business processes, guard and manage any impact on linked processes and applications. Formation
University/Master’s degree

Expériences
At least 7 years’ relevant experience
– Experienced Project Manager with Prince2 or PMP/PMI knowledge
– Experience in agile developments and Proof of Concepts
– Experience within the postal or logistics sector is a plus
– Experience in working with internal customers

Langues
Good Knowledge of Dutch, French and English

Competences

– Proven project leadership for BI solutions
– Good knowledge of Data modeling and SQL
– Knowledge of BI tools (eg Business Objects, SAS,…)
– Good Knowledge of Project Management Methodologies (Prince 2, …)
– Strong analytical skills
