We are looking for a Senior System Engineer Storage to start ASAP for an IT Service Company in Brussels.

Start: ASAP

Duration: 6 months

Location: Brussels

Description:

You will be in charge of the daily management for the storage infrastructure, back-up & archives.

Responsibilities:

· Part of the process of architecture, design, configuration & support of large storage’s environments & back-up, with multiple OS (iSeries, AIX, Linux, Windows & VMWare ESX);

· Deploying, managing & maintaining (troubleshooting) the storage’s environments, back-up & archives;

· Performing the daily monitoring for the availability & performing of the storage’ system, back-up & archives;

· Maintaining the documentation up to date;

· Analysing the availability & performing of the system;

· Providing the support & required analysis to resolve incidents & problems;

· Ensuring that all changes are consistent to the process of Change Management;

· Actif member with the management of the solution provider (for storage, back-up & archive);

· Actif member to set up automatic process for the management of the storage systems, back-up & archive.

Required skill set:

Mandatory skills:

· Experience of 5 years in design, implementation & daily management of storage solutions, back-up & archive;

· Strong skills of Storage Arrays, SAN, NAS, & ability to manage & diagnose the state of the solution;

· Strong skills provisioning concepts, and others points: Zoning, LUN, Thin provisioning, virtualization of storage,…;

· Strong skills with the capacity management of Storage;

· Experience with the storage platform IBM XIV, Storwize V7000 & DS8800;

· Strong skills of back-up concepts & back-up solutions like TSM é Veeam;

· Experience in Project Management;

· Some knowledges about ITIL, the certification is an asset.
